Code of Conduct

All participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and possess a valid government-issued photo identification to gain entry. No minors are permitted unless they have obtained express, written approval from The Church management.

NO harassment of others at the ball itself or on social media! The Arcane Vampire Ball is a diverse community that welcomes all genders, legal age groups, ethnicities, nationalities, religions, sexual orientations, and beyond. Harassment of any patron in any form will not be tolerated and may result in banishment from the event or community without a refund at the discretion of management.

NO DRINKING OF BLOOD, bloodletting, or the exchange of bodily fluids allowed at the Arcane Vampire Ball! For the health and safety of everyone attending, all blood used must be fake/theatrical.

You are required to respect the personal space of others around you. There will be absolutely NO touching or photography without consent allowed at any time throughout the evening.

A strict minimum dress code will be enforced at the door. Please refer to the dress code page to learn more or visit our Pinterest Board for inspiration.

NO ILLEGAL DRUGS PERMITTED! Any individual caught using or possessing illegal drugs will be ejected immediately and may be turned over to a law enforcement agency. This also includes marijuana, which by Colorado law is permitted for at-home use only.

Do NOT disturb a performance by an artist while in progress. Be polite, quiet, and respectful. If you do not want to watch a performance, stand outside the crowd or navigate to a different area of the venue.

The Arcane Vampire Ball is NOT primarily a fetish or BDSM event. Some events may include performances or play spaces that involve some elements. All activities shall remain consensual, safe, tasteful, and will have designated spaces such as a “dungeon” overseen by an appointed Dungeon Master or Mistress acting as a safety monitor.

No one is considered above or below anyone at the ball, and all patrons attend as unique individuals. It is essential to leave any non-vampire ball titles and politics outside the event and the community, allowing everyone to engage in a night filled with unity and shared passion.

This especially includes alcoholic beverages.

Professional photography or videography must be pre-approved in writing by AVB management, and upon approval, we will issue you an official AVB media laminate to show your authorization. If you are a patron, you may use your personal devices to take photographs or video for personal use only, provided you obtain permission from all individuals who are being photographed or filmed in any capacity. Please also use the hashtag #arcanevampireball when posting on social media.

All information that is collected from ticketing and subsequently shared among our team of cashiers and management is considered strictly confidential. This information will never, under any circumstances, be sold or shared publicly, ensuring the utmost privacy, security, and trust for our patrons. It is important to note that some patrons may choose to attend our event under an alias for personal reasons and preferences. If you happen to interact with anyone who has opted to remain anonymous, we kindly ask that you respect their wishes and uphold their right to privacy at all times.

The Arcane Vampire Ball is widely regarded as a public event that welcomes a diverse group of patrons. However, it is important to note that both the management of the AVB and The Church retain the authority to refuse service to any individual, should they deem it necessary.

The Arcane Vampire Ball strives to create a welcoming and safe space where patrons can escape from the realities of the world outside. We firmly insist that you refrain from discussing real-world events and politics during the ball and within the community.

Your safety and comfort are paramount, and we take all concerns seriously. Patrons who feel unsafe or uncomfortable with the conduct of others are strongly encouraged to immediately report the situation to a Church staff member or AVB personnel. Additionally, for the security of everyone attending, all patrons will be subject to thorough bag checks, along with the use of metal detectors, upon entering the building.

There will be no promoting, recruiting, or distribution of fliers for non-affiliated events or organizations without permission from both The Church and AVB management.

No weapons of any kind will be permitted at the ball or any other events! This includes costume weapons, regardless of their design or appearance, unless they are specifically intended for use in performances and have been explicitly permitted in advance by The Church management.
